Our client recently purchased a house in Scenic Acres that was built in 1992 and had never been updated. The home required a complete renovation from top to bottom. The basement was unfinished, and the family needed additional space for the grandparents who were living with them.
After extensive planning, design, and consultation with the client, we embarked on a full-scale renovation project. We completely gutted the bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, stairs, doors, trims, and tiles. The transformation of the house was remarkable.
Kitchen and Bathroom Transformation
We redesigned the kitchen with new cabinets, granite countertops, a double sink, backsplash, and all-new appliances. The kitchen now features modern amenities and an aesthetically pleasing design. In the bathrooms, we installed a new ensuite shower, soaking tub, double sink vanity, and updated light fixtures, creating a spa-like experience.
Flooring and Interior Updates
For the flooring, we treated the house with 7 mm vinyl planks, which provide durability and a sleek look. We also installed new carpet in all the bedrooms upstairs. The entire house was given a fresh coat of paint and new light fixtures, enhancing the home’s brightness and modern appeal.
Basement Conversion
The unfinished basement was transformed into a fully functional living space. It now includes two bedrooms, a large living room, a full bathroom, and a kitchenette. This additional suite provides ample space for the grandparents, ensuring they have a comfortable and private living area.
Exterior Enhancements
On the exterior, we installed new roof shingles, ensuring the home is well-protected and visually appealing. We also constructed a new deck, providing the family with an outdoor space for relaxation and entertainment.
Efficient and Budget-Friendly
The entire renovation project took about 2.5 months to complete and was finished under budget. Our efficient project management ensured timely completion without compromising on quality. The client was extremely satisfied with the updates, enjoying a beautifully renovated home with enough room and space for their kids and parents.
